Sunglasses Holder (Compartment) from BMW UK (Why not BMW NA?!)

Tell your Service Advisor of this issue and they will apply a felt like tape near the door seals to help reduce the creaking and cracking while going over bumps.

That is correct. No cargo net in Canada but I bought the cargo net from BMW that lays flat and I also bought one from China that is upright (envelop style). I shouldn't get any complaints now from my better half.

I just checked mine today, 2016 x5, it has the sunglass tray and has cargo net in secret compartment.

The US market did get the sunglasses holder...you just have to have the Storage Compartment Package (S493A) checked off on the options list.

You can see the "spectacles tray" (#1) in the diagram below...if you don't have the storage compartment package...then you get #3...which is a "blind" filler piece.
