Install AutoTecknic CF Steering Wheel Trim

I've searched but I couldn't find instructions in order to install this CF insert.

Anyone have any instructions or knowledge on how to do this? Pretty easy?

I believe the steering wheel has to come off and they're held in with some screws. If you search the part on google you can see some pics of just the trim and you see how it really looks. Probably easier to find a how to remove the whole wheel and can figure it out from there

Here is a link to my paddle shifter installation instruction. Just follow up to page 5 to remove that steering wheel trim. From there, just pop off the silver and replace with CF.

I am thinking about this CF steering wheel trim for my '18 X5 x35i, but messing with (DIY) the air bag has me a little spooked. Anyone DIY'd this mod on a newer X5?...thanks

2014 to 2018 are the same method.
Even my G30 5 series is the same method.
Just unplug the battery if it is spooking you.
