the 6wa should have been standard.
the standard cluster just looks dated.

Is amazing... Am I right, or does the basic cluster not click either when the turn signals are engaged? Amazed me to hear them again on the 6WA and think they are not on the standard cluster.

So what's the difference between the two? I didn't do anything but I think mine is 6WA, at least from the video it looks just like the one I have.

Didn't know there was 2 version of analog... i thought just 6WA and 6WB (fully digital)

Garage List
There is the non backlit one (except red with headlights on) with small half size display under middle and tachometer.

There is the backlit one with full size display stretched from below speedometer to odometer that typically comes with the HUD

There is the full display one that is an option for the rest of the world.

Do you mind sharing the part # you ended up getting for this? We both have diesel’s and the pics on getbmwparts, etc aren’t clear.

I ordered from Bryan, GETBMW did not have the right part. I went back and forth with them for a few weeks and they could not confirm it was a 6WA, US version, and deisel. Bryan ordered from his contacts in Germany and I think it was about 1700. Net was worth it though. Agree, BMW should be embarrassed they had that basic one originally.

In Canada we all roll with the digital cluster, I am not sure why they did that in the US.

Was a trade off for the halogen fog lights without led package. :

And to be honest I had no idea about this. I thought they were all digital, Canadian x5 here as well. Albeit the halogen fogs drive me bananas.

Not all, earlier model doesn't come with digital cluster in Canada. Couple of my friends doesn't have it when they got it maybe one to two years ago.

My x5 is a 4/15 build. Mine is fully digital. Unless I'm missing something

My '15' X6 also has the digital dash. Why would BMW even use a vintage
looking cluster like that?
P.S. I just bought a 20 pack bag of the same microfiber's at Home Depot
for like $8.99. Great deal.
