285/35/22, will it fit??

Driving a xDrive35i with the M sport package. Would 22x10 with 285/35/22 fit? Anyone running this setup? I know the overall diameter will increase which is my concern but I’d prefer the addtl sidewall.

Technically speaking, because I asked the same questions, your tire diameter should not exceed 29''. My control arm's distance from the top of tire is less than 3/4''. So if your tire, and this is for the front, is higher that 29.3'', you're in the "danger" zone.

If you go to tirerack, and you enter 285/35/22, you'll see that the diameter of these tires -inflated- are close to 30''. So I don't think it would fit.

Thanks Menelaos, what size did you end up running?

I'm running 295/30/22 on my fronts (22x10) and 335/25/22 on the rears (22x12). No issues.

Am debating my summer set...right now running 255/50/19.
Am looking into summer set combinations. A lot of choices in 20s, 21s and few 22s

285/35/22 has higher diameter than 295/30/22. About an inch difference in those I sampled in tirerack

Will you be able to measure the horizontal and vertical distance from the control arm and let us know? Am intrigued by your setup, but I don't want any rubbing.
Please share the offsets on wheels if you could!

I would run a square setup so my understanding is this shouldn’t be an issue? My main concern is clearance within the wheel wells.

Could you guys share your offsets as well?

Yeah, only these offsets can accommodate such wide wheels.
Must be looking like a muscle car....if you could share pics, it'd be great!

File size might be too big. Try uploading to photobucket then use the sharing/embed links. That's what I've been doing. Looking forward to the pics too! 22x12 is wiiiidddeee!!

Wheel Fitment

Hi Guys!

After a bit of help as im pretty ignorant on the matter.

I haver an 2015 XDrive 30d. it currently has the 20" wheels on it which I believe they are the original wheels that came with the car. im looking to get a set of 22"s that I have seen and all 4 wheels are 285/35/22. 5x120. The question is will these fit ok?
