Looking for one (potentially two!) X5 M build slots
Hello All!
In 2014 I factory ordered a new X1, that took three months to get here and it was a painful wait! We just factory ordered a 2018 X5 x35i M Line and I was pleasantly surprised to hear it would be arriving in less than one month! Wow... I'm now after one more X5, this time a proper M. The dealer I ordered the x35i from quoted me 3 months, if he had one. I thought it wise to tune to you all. Do any of you know of dealers with nearer slots? Are the M's made in South Carolina like the rest of the X5's? If so...whats the hold up? Thanks! PS yes like the title says this one build may turn in to two, if that changes anything. |

Wanted to chime in here and give a big thanks to Felix (felixleasing) at eAutoLeasing! He tracked down an X5M build slot at BMW of Newton, 3-4 week delivery and got me a great price.
Way out of left field I've decided to pick up a 718 Cayman. A quick inventory search showed one just arriving 3-4 days out in a midnight blue which will hopefully pair well with the Carbon Black X5 we have coming (first week of feb). http://www.porsche-code.com/PJV3XA67 These should be a fun and capable two cars for now no need for two X5's yet as I only ever really have one person in the car anyway PS: Of course this beast is taunting me on the way up to the dealership!! |

Congrats on both! Two excellent choices.
Not to hijack the thread... But I’m curious to know how many F85 owners also have P-Cars in the stable. Personally, I have had several Porsches (always alongside a Bimmer as my DD) and currently have a 2009 997.1 Turbo, an ‘89 911 Carrera and a ‘63 356B Coupe (it’s just sliiiiiightly slower than the F85). Anyone else...? |

A great stable IndyM!! I think the two pair well.. Both driver focused and relatively minimal. I too would be curious Looking forward to the P-Car + BMW DD I think the two will be a fun combo! |

I think you will miss not having a proper M.
