Bmw Connected help

Hey guys need some help here.

I swear when I first got my car a few weeks ago, I could lock/unlock the vehicle and start the heat/AC from the app.

Now it only shows the gas mileage. There's not "key fob" commands.

Why did it disappear? How do I get it back?

Super frustrated, my MY18 S4 has a terrific app interface. This BMW app seems clunky at best.

The BMW remote app has the remote features. I have no idea why they have 2 apps.

Same thing happened to me. Other than the car finder, nothing else seems to update for the last week or two.

Mine too. Installed the app and collected the car 15 Dec. Everthing worked fine. They issued an update for the app on 14 Dec and I manually updated the app on 17 Dec.....now it shows mileage but locked/unlocked status is unknown and no info on charging. I’m using Iphone 7. Interestingly, it works great on my wifes iphone 5s.

The issue appears to be related mostly to iPhones running iOS 11.

Happened to me last week as well. What I did, I uninstall it on my iPhone and reinstall the app again and it works after that. I am on iOS 11.2.1

just thought i'd share my "fix". I did have to download the second app. I was getting an error when trying to add my car to the remote app. i had to completely remove the car from bmw connect, then re-add it to both apps.

works now. the bmw apps certainly leave a lot to be desired.

With recent/latest BMW Connected updates, it adds some new features, like in the attached photo, but they don't work for me (most of them are unknown). Anybody has these features working?

I used to have this same one. After I uninstalled it and reinstall, I have no more info at all except service required and enabled features.

All work for me on a 2017. iPhone 7 running 10.3.3

Is there a way to use the US version of the app, I installed it on my iPhone but it keeps saying vehicle not equipped with connected drive services, that’s not true as I have Canadian apps working fine with connected drive

I think you need to plug in your phone with a USB cable to download all that extra info.

I'm in Canada, that's the only one available to me in the Apple app store

Both of yours shows REMOTE and INFO only.

Mine in iOS still shows REMOTE, STATISTICS, and INFO.

Which version are you using that have statistics? Most members here only have remote and Info.
