Are the 612M's available from BMW for F15?

I'm taking delivery of a new F15 M50D in Germany next month and AFAIK it arrives with summer tires. My plan is to buy a new set of 612M's with winter tires to be installed immediately by my dealer. I can't see these rims listed anywhere on the dealers website, does anyone know if BMW will sell these rims to non X5M owners and any reason why it may not be a good idea (besides slightly firmer ride due to being 21 inch) ?

I don't see why they wouldn't. Just walk up to the parts counter and order them.

There are a couple of sets on ebay. They are located in Hong Kong so I'm assuming they are knock-offs.

If you Google 612M, there are lots of photos showing these fitted to the X5. They look very nice!

I ordered my 611m reps from that seller on eBay and they’ve been great so far. No issues whatsoever.

20x10 fronts and 20x11 rears with factory offsets. I mean let’s face it, people see the REAL BMW X5, they don’t question if the wheels are reps or not lol.

My service manager actually pushed me to the reps. I wanted factory 469m wheels, but at $1000 a piece, I could have 3 sets of reps. He said he sees poor quality OEM BMW wheels all the time.

Why? BMW does not have a Magic casting process that is makes there wheels 10 times the cost and quality ....hell bmw would not even make the wheels themselves, they would be farmed out to someone.

What do I trust more? BMW OEM wheels or eBay reps? C'mon...

And yet here I am, driving down the road...on reps. $4,000 versus $1200. I’ll take my chances.

They probably made in the same factory...It’s not like those are your only two choices... there are a lot of very good vendors on the forums that stand behind the product these sell with excellent support.

I have used a lot replica rims with zero issues... but if your that concerned about quality why buy OEM, you should only buy BBS and HRE... that way you can spend double over OEM... more good 🤑
