iDrive/LED Lights/HUD malfunction
I have a 2015 X6 X35i with HUD and LED package.
1. The first week I got my car (around early May), my iDrive rebooted itself once while I was driving. Everything was fine after that. 2. Last week (July), during nighttime I had my headlights turned on Auto and the adaptive high-beams enabled. Suddenly my high-beams kind of flashed for a second and then turned off (I couldn't really tell if my low-beams turned off or not.) On my dashboard the auto low-beam headlight and the adaptive high-beam icons were turned off. I tried turning the low-beams off and on again and the adaptive high-beams off and on but nothing worked. About 2 minutes later the lights came back and everything was fine. 3. Today (still July), my HUD suddenly displayed "No Signal" in blue letters. About 20 seconds later it came back. After 20 minutes more of driving it again showed "No Signal" for about 20 seconds before rebooting itself (showed an iDrive booting screen on my HUD) and then it was fine. Has anybody else had these issues? Any guesses as to what's wrong? |

I was having issues similar like this on my Nav display. It was changed before by the previous owner yet I still was having issues. They ended up replacing the cables for the Nav display. This happened 3 weeks ago, no issues so far. Take it to the dealer and make sure to take pictures when it happens again.

Your #3 issue just happened to my wife today. It's the first time this has happened.
