Sounds good - please post pictures. I also have white M sport and looking at both 22" and rear diffuser

Yah, It definitely makes the rear look it's been doing some squats. Along with blacking out the exhaust tips and maybe doing the black roof spoiler I think the rear end will look wider and more aggressive.

I also have some pretty aggressively offset 22s on the way which should further improve the appearance.

I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing. I don't really like carbon fiber and wanted gloss black instead. Please show us pics and link any parts (spoiler) you used!
I'm also interested in the sides (like the M Performance sticker but wrapped and with no text).

If someone can fabricate these on a cutting machine it can be a diy project just like the side M performance decals. I would be the first one to buy it in gloss black. matte or carbon fiber would also look good. Any thoughts ??

That's a good idea. I'll see if my guy is able to create a stencil on transfer paper or something.

Not sure if he is planning to freehand it or what.

We were chatting about adding some other gloss black accents to the grill openings to create more depth in the front bumper as well.

Hey Dush, did you ever get this wrapped and installed? Have pics??

So I tried to wrap it myself and failed lol. This spoiler has a complex shape to wrap it in one piece by a noob wrapper like me. I basically wasted a good CF roll

So after that I decided to just give it to body shop to paint gloss black. They told me to pick it up this Friday, so we'll see if it's ready. I'll post pics when i mount it

P.S. This is ridiculous how much some local paint shops charge nowadays - one shop said $1000 I think they increase price when they see that it's for bmw x5 I bet if i came to them in some Mustang or Camaro - it would have been $150-200 max

I finally found a indy auto shop that asked $150 - good thing is there's no need to match paint, just gloss black should look fine. I would have done this a lot earlier if not issues with finding a good body shop that doesn't charge arm and a leg

Two of my good friends twelve535i and aw305 have done this mod couple of years ago. It seemed pretty straight forward but I think it requires two set of hands.

$1000 is ridiculous! There are definitely shops around here that will try to pull that crap also. Luckily I have a guy here that does fantastic wrapping out of his garage for about half the cost of the shops. Wrapping is tough, watching him do it is impressive. He wrapped all of the window trim and door handles on my previous car and there is not a chance I would have been able to do it as cleanly and quickly as he did.

Looking forward to the pics!!

Just did Plasti Dip over a weekend. Took about 2 hours and results look pretty similar to the photoshop. Far from perfect but looks pretty decent. Probably will last about a year or two. Hardest part was getting the curves and clean line. Key is to build 4-5 layers and to pull the painters tape while it's wet.

She's really dirty, but here's some pics! I'm really liking it. My vinyl guy did a great job following the lines of that diffuser area. Will try to get some better pics if it ever stops raining here.

Yah, I love it. Unfortunately no template or anything was created. He used knifeless tape to cut the vinyl while on the bumper. Pretty cool stuff. I might buy some of the knifeless tape to try doing some wrapping myself.

I’m just waiting for the rain to stop so I can wash the car and paint the tips. I think it will look pretty damn good once that’s done.

Yep, gloss black. I wanted it to match the other trim and future gloss black tips. He also only charged me $100 so I figure if I get bored with gloss black, it's cheap enough to just swing by and have him redo it satin or matte black to change the look

Definitely cheaper then a diffuser. I may go carbon fibre. But gloss blk match's all the trim so it flows better

Yup, and no holes drilled and removable in less than a minute. CF will look good too. I just don't plan to CF anything else on the car so decided to stay away from CF.

If I do end up getting the front lip I may actually just have him wrap that too, but I'm hoping I can find something different than the Mperformance lip.

They sell them on ebay unpainted but I would be worried about fitment
