Bluetooth Recent Calls

So I update to 11.2.5 last night, but still no recent calls.

If anyone has any info on how to update the BT version on 2016 X5 I would really appriciate it.

Maps update has nothing to do with Bluetooth, I think updates past that old version on bmw.com/update being done by dealers only and you can't do it yourself. If you car is still under warranty just go to the dealer, it's free and doesn't take too long. You can also try to remove both phones,reset network settings on the iPhone (will delete all BT/WI-FI profiles,so up to you) and try to add your phone again.

Haha, going to the dealer, at least here in NY is basically a whole day event, I did update maps and as you said the BT version did not update as it was expected.

Im just trying to find some one with 2016 X5 and this working and see what version they on, before going to the dealer.

I did do a reset of network settings, but its still the same.

As far as I remember 2016 X5 still got NBT system,not NBT2 (EVO) so the hardware and software is pretty much the same as 2014 (for instance my car).

My car is a 2016 X5 Diesel (UK). After update I would delete phone and re-pair

So UK has a different version of BT software ? and its TB vs US TN ? I`m confused and pissed, based on what @RED_Y_ is saying I`m on the same version as him, but yet its not working. I didnt remove/add phone after 11.2.5 update, so thats the last thing to try.

Yes,you got NBT and seems like the same version of software. I actually did some research and there are lots of reports of this problem on Apple forums, it seems to be very random some people can't see any phone lists at all or got issues with one (received/missed/placed) or the entire system will reboot (the problem my wife had) and for some the solution was as simple as re-pair the phone and some still can't make it work. FYI my wife is driving BMW for almost a week now and no more rebooting issues and all features are working as they suppose to.

Very interesting, I saw those same apple support forum posts...
My never actually rebooted or did anything like that, with my iPhone 8plus or my wifes, I tried to repair today, changed the sync options in iOS BT and still nothing, the contacts sync just fine, but recent calls dont sync at all. I`m going to check with my daughters 6S plus and see what how that goes. About ready to give up, not a huge deal I guess, but driving me crazy some what, as this used to work perfectly and its pretty convent especially with new DnD while driving iOS feature ...

Ok, so my versions are same as yours. iPhone 6s plus works just fine.

This year apple used different chips for iPhones, Im think it has something to do with that. Will see if this works with 11.3, but for now Im done...

Hey,don't give up yet! I went to the BT info instead of settings menu, and look what i found for the exact version of Bluetooth Firmware version:

Mine ends in 39 and yours is 04, seems like you are quite behind on Bluetooth firmware. I guess general release of the software doesn't change that often but these numbers in the end might might be critical in your case, so if you really want this fixed i guess it's time to make an appointment with your dealership...

OK, so from what I read there is a way to update via esys. Will try to check that out as well.

Will i lost all the coding (like Anti-glare headlight) if i let the dealer update the software?
