Blind Spot Alert

Hello All,

My father just got his X5 Xdrive35i, and I noticed, upon starting the car, the safety feature "Blind Spot Assist" isn't automatically activated. Is there a way to program this so it's always on?

Thanks in advance!

It only works at speeds above 30mph if I'm not mistaken

Not always on but you can code at lower than 30mph using E-sys and it will be active at 12.5 mph

Push button above (below?) hazard light button in center of dash and select which driver assist features are active. It also toggles between all on and your selections.

As others stated, doesn’t function until a certain speed is reached.

Thanks everyone. So, once above 30mph, it should auto-on, is that correct?

As long as the option is turned on. Yes
To change settings, press the button below emergency flashers.
