f85 control arms on f15

X5 sdrive hit 91k and sloppy over the bumps and any imperfections on the road, going to do x5m control arms lower, and upper control arms appear to be the same as f15.
Going to replace bushings with power flex as well. Anyone done this yet? If not, let you know the results.
Also looking into b4 bilsteins with hr sport sport springs.

Yes search for the recent thread on this. Reports are they have a an effect on ride quality

If you want comfort stick with new OE parts instead.

I unfortunately purchased the wrong lowering springs for the x5 but I got the Koni red shocks and car feels amazing! Next step working on getting the f85 control arms with power flex bushings.

I installed f85 bushings in my factory front control arms. I was sick of the sloppy handling and vibrations. I can confirm they definitely tightened up the handling, vibrations gone, with no effect on harshness.

Wanted to update this thread that I finally performed. I ended up using new f15 arms with powerflex bushings, I have f85 brakes all around, and only koni shocks with stock springs. F85 arms already proven do not change handling characteristics like m3 arms on an e90. Save your money! My specs are 16 sdrive with fbo doing daily duties! Just have to get used to the brake noise from the bigger brakes lol

So what part # did you use for the control arm bushings? I was gonna replace whole assembly, but would rather use upgraded bushings. I also have lowering springs and front struts to replace…

I would recommend upgrading the bushings on new arms. I know it increases the cost but when I replaced my arms, the bushing was fine. It was the ball joint that had failed and caused a whole bunch of racket. Just a thought.
