just hold onto them. You have to return the truck with runflats.

Really? Your lease specifically states it requires the vehicle to be returned with run-flats? I don't lease, so just asking...

usually the lease contract says the vehicle should be returned with the exactly the same equipment options. Ny dealer confirmed that usually mods are no go, but if the standard BMW EQUIPMENT IS USED, it should be fine - but BMW will not pay for the mod cost or even for the depreciated value.

your lease specifically says to have to return the car the way you picked it up.. There's minor exceptions.. Tints, etc. that they don't care about or anything BMW performance related that you could buy in the BMW parts store.

Since tires are a wear and tear item, I wouldn't think they would expect a run flat to be placed back on the car as long as the tire is proper size and fit. Has anyone actually tried returning their car without run flats?

It makes sense, run flats are part of the "never change a tire again" package from BMW. Since most cars don't have a spare, it would only be right to return the car with run flats. |

I returned my lease with non run flats, different rims, and some mods including an air intake. They didn't care at all..but I guess it depends on the guy inspecting your car.

I think it's going to vary by dealer, and by relationship. A friend of mine returned his E82 off lease with pulled fenders. No words said. The dealer knew what the car looked like when it was fully done (red powdercoated cage, racing seats, CF trim, BMS JB4, downpipes, Berk Race exhaust, the list goes on. With that said, it did go back with the OE 261M and Bridestone RFTs (only had 20 kms on them).
