Painted Reflectors installed

I finally had the painted reflectors installed. I waited until I imported it from Germany to the US to avoid any clearance issues that may arise. Another great product from Ben/ r33_RGSport.

Thanks, I really like it as well. It looks awesome at night with the ambient lighting reflecting off of the CF.

Looks great man! On that first pic with the painted reflectors, did they not put the wheel well liner back in correctly? Looks like it's not tucked behind the inside part of the flare.

Are you planning to get wheels?

You scared me, I went out to check it and it’s just camera angle. It’s assembled correctly.

As to the inevitable wheel question, I’m content with the OEM 469Ms. I may replace them someday, but no plans at the moment. I have two sets of OEM 469s, and two sets of summer performance tires to go with them, along with the Contis. I am looking to sell a set of the 469s though.

I'm confused part numbers for supporting ring - 51168060321 and 51168060322 shows up on RealOEM for both F15 and F85 but this part should be different between regular X5 and X5m?

It is compatible with both, but the outer ring is specifically for the F85/86. Its a clean swap with no modifications required.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
I know the feeling, I still miss my black sapphire F16 but my X5 helps me easily get over those feelings.

Window tint

Finally, I can have my windows tinted! SunTek CIR applied all around, including sunroof and windshield with a 70%.

Don't trust 3rd party BMW online parts catalog 100%, I have got a wrong parts following it.
There are some tricks to confirming part numbers, usually require some VIN and different parts catalog that connect to BMW database directly.
It does require subscription, which I do have.

Your car looks beautiful and almost completely mod. Have you thinking about changing the following

?

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment.
Yes, I’ve considered replacing the downpipe, but not sure about doing that mod yet. I need to save some mods for when I get bored with her.

How are your tire condition? Are they worn out more on the inner side? Do you install any camber kit? Are the front and rear worn out the same ?

I switched to Contis right before I lowered it and installed the spacers. But I haven’t noticed any odd wear on the tires and no camber kit installed.
I took her to BMW for an alignment a few weeks after the Eibach springs were installed and they said that it was within spec and wouldn’t adjust the alignment.
Drives/rides like a dream.

That cannot be a 70% tint. You mean a 30% tint?

I have 5% all around, and 25% on the driver and passenger side. In the photos, yours looks just as dark as mine!
