I can't tell if you're being serious, but a luxury car interior is a serious amount of weight. Gutting a heavy interior out of a fast car will make a non-trivial difference.

I've seen another video of that Tesla driver and he comments it's about 400lbs. The gist of the video is, even with the interior gutted and nothing else done to the car (one can nit pick that he's using slicks too if one wanted to, but who isn't?), the power in that car is undeniably sick for stock. Racing others with thousands upon thousands of mods installed is in itself impressive.

Or, it's unimpressive to some. *shrugs*
