Have an eye for a X5d Msport (2015)

I am looking at a potential buy, after my Q7 gets bought back.

What is a fair offer to give for the following options?

2015 X5d Msport
38000 miles
Glacier Silver
Mocha Dakota
Driving Ass
Light Pack
Premium
20 inch
Adaptive M susp
HK sound

$40k +/- $3k based on the countless hours I have spent recently searching for the right car would be my guess.

$46k is nada retail with CPO. Shoot for 10-15% off that asking price

They are a large, high volume dealership network.

yes, the car is CPO

I will go in there within a week and see what they say.

46000 is too high, I will start with 40000 OTD, and see what happens from that

Good luck. Hope you will get it at the price you feel comfortable with. And don't forget to post photos after you get it.

Just bought a ‘15 CPO with 35k miles, cold weather, x-line, premium, rear view, stop&go. Got a couple thousand off the initial list after letting the car sit on their lot for a month (also got my asking on trade). Diesel’s are fairly rare (about 8% of CPOs available last I checked) and i think generally move pretty fast so can be challenging to move off list.

I think around $42k~43k is fair considering a CPO status.

$41.5 down from $43.5k, I didn’t see any m-sports in my search anywhere near low 40s. Think you’ll have trouble moving them 5-6k off the list

Couple other thoughts from all my research:

- You can buy without CPO (technically not paid for until the car sells so you can get I think like 2-3k off)
- Alot of the price depends on how the dealer acquired the car and at what price (off lease, at auction, etc), even if you don’t think it’s worth $46k if the dealer got it at $45k they’re not going to drop too far.
- I also wanted a very specific set of options (one of which was ACC Stop & Go) that further limited my option set. Dealer didn’t know that but they may have been banking on the rarity of that option in their truck in holding firm.

My 2015 35d M-Sport lease has a residual of $45,600 and comes off lease in June (or earlier if I do a pull forward deal).

The MSRP was $78k, and it's pretty loaded. Even has Dynamic Handling Pkg which I would not go without if I get another X5.

So you can add that to your list of potential purchase costs for a 2015 35d Msport.

....

so, I went, test drove it, liked it, We talked numbers, and I walked.

46670 out the door price. 2.49 % APR if I want to finance for 60 months.

What is with the astonishing $500 document fee? This to me is a rip off.

Let me know what you people think, should I wait?

Doc fee

Some states legally require a doc fee otherwise that’s 100% negotiable. I paid $150 in Illinois, you can potentially get it to $0 but I was happy with my deal and didn’t want to push

.....so as of Saturday I own my first BMW.

Coming from an Audi, everything is bit different, and I need to learn and adjust.

Any tips? Mod suggestions? Did anybody on the boards own the car before?
