Bluetooth Recent Calls

Hello,

Few days ago I noticed that my recent calls are not syncing from my iPhone 8 plus, same with my wifes on my 16 40e. Anyone else noticed this ? I checked the iPhone BT settings and recent is checked to sync, I tried removing the phone and repair and still same.

I saw on bmw.com/update there is an update, but I`m not sure if its actually suppose to work with US cars and my options... Anyone can comment ?

I'm having the same issue with the iPhone X with BMW's only

Well at least Im not the only one, probably some kind of iOS 11 thing.

yes I'm suspecting, not sure BMW will release a Bluetooth update for that.

Do you know if bmw.com/update is the update or it now gets pushed out via the idrive it self ?

iOS 11 issue? Not sure.

I tried X and 7 Plus with the same iOS, and did see the history of recent calls from 7 Plus.

You are probably right then, iPhone 8/plus and X uses Bluetooth version 5 while 7 is on 4.2, so probably BT versions.

But I`m glad I`m not the only one with the issue.

I`m just wondering how the BT firmware on the iDrive gets updates this days. The bmw.com/update is very old... Debating to call bmw genius....

Just found apple support thread on same issue. I guess we just have to wait for BMW or Apple to fix this, will update iPhone to 11.2.5 to see if it helps at all althout I really doubt it.

BMW got a new BT software,just picked up my car from the dealer and they told me they got it upgraded.

I am Android user so I didn't have a problem,will ask my wife to give it a try, she's is using iPhone.

You updated the Bluetooth version in the car or iOS ?

I still need to do 11.2.5 update and my car is on TN-003.009.004-013.004.

I`m also planing to update my GPS to the 2018-1 version, I doubt that will carry new BT version but who knows.

Can you please let us know what version of BT you car has now ? Thank you in advance !

Ok so I had 003.009.003 now updated to 003.009.004 for the phone and media, phone is on iOS 11.2.5 and my wife can see all call logs fine and everything looks normal.

Thank you so much for checking. What car is that? I seem to be on the same version, but my iPhone is still on 11.2.2, will probably update now.

Do you have to take your x5 to the dealer to get Bluetooth updates? The software posted on the bmw.com/update site is ancient...

I am not sure when did they switch to the newer version of NBT but before update I didn't have any issues (Android) my wife had full NBT reboot with NO SIGNAL error and random connections problem (Apple). It's being only 3 days after update but so far so good.

Yeah the BMW.COM is like from 2014 or even older, i guess it's dealer only now.

Hi - my car BT version is: TB-005.012.001 and the iPhone X is 11.2.5.
