MPPK install in Los Angeles

Hey guys I just purchased the MPPK online and looking for a dealer to install in Los Angeles. Those of you that have had it done can you let me know which dealer/SA and approx. how much it was? My local dealer in West LA wont do it because I didnt buy it from them. If there is someone that can do remote coding for it that would work as well. Thanks in advance!

Sterling BMW at Newport beach charge $155

I called several dealers: Santa Monica, Newport Beach, and Beverly Hills.

Santa Monica was ridiculously expense (like $500+), and Newport Beach and Beverly Hills were both about $300. Not sure how some members got Sterling (Newport Beach) so cheap.

You need to negotiate the labor cost. There is a pamphlet floating around showing exactly how long the install should be.

r33_RGSport a member here can probably do it. Also you don't necessarily have to take it to a dealer.

SMBMW didnt even want to do it because I didnt purchase from them. will have to call Sterling to see what toe cost is.

Nick Alexander BMW installed it for me and it was about $250 IIRC

That's where I got my x6. Got my 750 serviced there as well. It was a whole in the wall dealer but they are good people. They are renovating though.

Sterling BMW Newport Beach performed the complete MPPK upgrade for just under $950 IIRC, ask for Chris Heck. That wasn't the price for just the labor to "install", that was the price for everything!
