BMW Service
Have a 2015 X5 that’s outside of the free maintenance plan. How do I know what servicing I need at specific miles like other cars. I am about to hit 60k miles. When I take it to dealer, they put the key and figure out that way. Is there any way we can see what they see?
Also anyone know of any good servicing places in Ohio for BMW other than the stealership? They charged me $250 for oil and engine filter for my 50k service. |

Does your iDrive system still work? You should be able to go into it and see what services is required based on your mileage and wear/tear of your brake pads etc.

I just have a independent mechanic change my oil every 4500 as I just did my last free oil change that’s what I do with my 335i and it’s a lot cheaper than the dealer I bring him Mobil 1 5w-30 and a filter from the dealer and pay him 20 bucks

Hey Kzang, for some reason I only see oil and brakes there. I was wondering where can we check things like coolant, filters, plugs and also what about transmission oil change? I was trying to find a pdf with maintenance plan but to no avail
