Jumps out of nowhere??? I was genuinely trying to understand your situation before making any judgements and I was starting to feel quite bad for you as it was becoming evident that you were scammed, but now I see you for who you really are!

Hmm...you first said your M badge was put on at the factory, then later say you’re not sure if the badge was put there. How is that not contradictory?

The badge was definitely installed by someone and not the factory. You initially stated it was factory badge installed by the factory. The placement is off, the size looks off, the color is off. Nothing about it looks OEM or factory.

Hey DuSh, how 'bout dem decals?!?!
As for the other subject, maybe menelaos has non-US/RoW car where they (dealer) did adorn the body with badges and called it an MTech pkg?

Indeed... We've deviated from the topic.
Dush... Sell your BBK and install a cheap plastic cover with a nifty M badge.

it's the "hit dog" that sends you to the hospital and makes you wonder why you threw the rock in the first place.

You paid $32.5K for a flood salvage base model w/ some sort of "MTech" package. That alone is a problem. If you're going to buy a salvage vehicle you need to get a much better deal...$32.5K was not a bargain. The badge is obviously haphazardly placed and not of OEM quality. Salt/winter roads is not an excuse. Can you imagine if every vehicle in northern states had badges and adhesives that looked like this? OEM badges don't have these problems after only a couple of years on the road. I'd still like to see what the MTech package consisted of, who created it, and what country it came from. Perhaps @menelaos has some history on the vehicle's geographical past or can shed some more light on this for us...it is interesting. And I'm sure DuSh loves us all up on his thread, that's why forums are fun!

What a great post this has turned out! You Americans do take things to task. By the way where can I buy some Mtech accessories?

P.S. I just realized my plates have letter M in them - I'm thinking to change my plates to ones that don't have any M letter in them - in fear to be beaten to death by fellow enthusiasts I'm thinking brebo should be safer than brembo Last edited by DuSh; 02-04-2018 at 02:55 PM.. |
