Hi!

I've been lurking so far

I picked up this one last December, but did not have a chance to take a photo. I took it today in work parking lot

It's 2018 x5 35i luxury line. I pasti dipped window trim, front & back chrome, and root rails last weekend.

I really regret that I did not pick up m-sport instead...I really miss sport seat from my 2007 328i. It's bummer that regular x5 seat is worse than 2007 328i sport seat. Other than that, I love it.

Cheers!

You did a great job blacking it out! I'm not generally a fan of non M-Sport X5s but yours is definitely the exception!

Very clean! BTW you can probably swap your front seats or even just driver seat to Multi-contour ones of same color. Will be hard to find tho

lsturbointeg When I was looking for a new car, I was considering X5 and Volvo XC90.

I somehow liked XC90 more at first then I moved onto X5. After looking at XC90, I did not like muscular look of m-sport. However, that was mistake...

It's not just the look, but even seat is way better with m-sport. I also did not care about chrome at first, but they are annoying as hell. I think you should go for msport...

Non Msport looks more classy. Msport looks more aggressive. Just depends on the look you're after

Not to mention M Sport also retains better value (and therefore costs more on the used market). I should've been a "lurker" like OP here lol before I got my F15 and it would've 100% been an M Sport.

But wow, have any of you been in a new XC lately? It might have to be the most drastic change inside I've ever seen between two continuous models in a carmaker. That interior is BEAUTIFUL. Gotta give props to Volvo where it's due.

Great looking ride.

As far as wishing you got the MSport - I wonder what percentage of purchasers either 1) wish they upgraded more, 2) with they didn't spend as much as they did, or 3) think they nailed it.

For me it's #1 - i bought used and wish I picked one up with less miles.

The new XC is definitely nice, but I just don't see myself driving a Volvo. Around my area it's all soccer moms that drive the XCs. I don't fit in well with that group

When they first came out, I called a dealer to schedule a test drive. I had no intentions of buying one cuz I only had my current car less than a year. They had none to test drive and insisted that I order one. The dealers must get some kind of incentive for customer orders.

This is the one I ordered. R-Design with 22s
