But wow, have any of you been in a new XC lately? It might have to be the most drastic change inside I've ever seen between two continuous models in a carmaker. That interior is BEAUTIFUL. Gotta give props to Volvo where it's due.
When they first came out, I called a dealer to schedule a test drive. I had no intentions of buying one cuz I only had my current car less than a year. They had none to test drive and insisted that I order one. The dealers must get some kind of incentive for customer orders.

This is the one I ordered.
That's a T6 R design? Love the "Thor's Hammer" headlights and that massive touch screen inside. The open pore wood is so nice, almost sensual lol. And of course that drive selector switch with the cool wavy pattern.

They say small things matter, I wholeheartedly agree.

Sure is hah. I considered an F-Pace which there aren't too many of around here yet but felt it was a bit small for what I was looking for. I think it's definitely one of the best looking in it's category.

Surely that’s in addition to the X6?

Yea the interior was great. Maybe even better than the X6. But I hated the 4 cylinder engine sound. I don't think the T6 was out back then.

Would've been nice to have both.

It's 2018 x5 35i luxury line. I pasti dipped window trim, front & back chrome, and root rails last weekend.

I really regret that I did not pick up m-sport instead...I really miss sport seat from my 2007 328i. It's bummer that regular x5 seat is worse than 2007 328i sport seat. Other than that, I love it.

Cheers!

Welcome! The car almost looks like an M Sport, are you thinking of getting M Sport wheels?

kanvas Thank you! Not at the moment. I think I will probably...think about it in about 1~2 years. I kind of like the current wheels actually.

Which part? Being married to a woman and having kids (the Mom part), or not into your kids playing soccer (the soccer part)?

is this just a poor attempt at humor? Or does it really need to be explained?

The question was rhetorical. Feel free to interpret it however you’d like.

I see far more soccer moms driving X5s than XC90s. I guess that means we are all driving soccer mom cars too.

Hi!

Great ride!

I just bought a brand new black x5 f15 with chrome roof rails and window trims? What is the best way to get the all black look? Unistalling and re-installing is a big job??

Thanks for the help!

Well.. they did a crazy good job wrapping the window trims and wrapping most of the car with high gloss transparent Hexis/Bodyfence. 100% satisfied, and that doesn’t happen very often. So yeah, I would say that they are pretty good.
They said they could wrap the rails but didn´t want to give me any warranties because of the shape. I took their advise.
I´m slowly starting to like the alu rails.
