Running Board For M Sport

Has anyone found a decent after market running board that will compliment the look of the M sport? Since BMW decided to delete the option. Thanks.

They deleted them because of the flared side skirts. I can't imagine any running boards looking right on an M sport.

I would convert to the OEM side step. Should look ok with the M Sport front and rear.

I really think that would look disjointed. Seems to me the front and rear would be lower than the sides at that point. The boards just don't go with the sleek look of the m sport.

I do like the boards on an x-line and maybe luxury (not sure about that one either), but definitely not on an m sport.

I have to agree with Chris on this one. The flared sills works perfectly with the M-Sport but if you were to mix and match then it'd really look "off." The X5 is pretty low, I can't imagine why a running board would be needed unless you plan to install a rack system above and need a way to reach above.

I do agree as far as the looks. But I would stick with the OEM instead of some aftermarket. At least it would still be designed for the car.

Pretty sure eventually someone with the right vision will design one that will look great on it. It's a supply and demand. Thanks.
