(Used-Like New- 60 Miles) Pirelli P-Zero Staggered 315/275 R20

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 1,000.00

Or Best Offer

Item Interest
Hi All!

I am a member of e90post. Parents recently purchased a new 2018 BMW X5 M-Sport and it came with these Pirelli Summer Tires. The X5 is the electric version which doesn't have much of a need for summer tires, on top of the fact that they want to drive in the winter/snow with this SUV. They negotiated all season tires at cost price since the vehicle was purchased in the winter time, leaving these tires without use. The vehicle was purchased new off the lot, with these tires only receiving 40-60 miles worth of driving. They look fresh off the shelf and no cracks/damages.

I am new to selling tires... but I am willing to ship these out if someone would work with me on the process. I can also send any additional pictures or information needed.

Tire Sizes:
315/35/R20 - Rear
275/40/R20 - Front

Appreciate the help!

Shipping tires is easy, just strap/tape two together and send them off with ground shipping. UPS or FedEx will accept them as 2 packages - no protection nor boxes needed. GLWS.

USPS does also. Nice n easy. Think roughly $50 - $80 per tire in the contiguous 48 states.

Appreciate it! Didn't think it was that easy.. do you know the average cost to ship 4 tires?

Thanks for the help. I know I could have googled it, but I'm always open to hearing the communities feedback.

You won't know until you run a quote and depends on size/weight/destination etc.

Strapping them together will exceed the 70lbs limit & you’ll end up paying a lot for excess weight. You need to ship them individually. Without a corporate account, you’re looking at about $60/tire coast - coast. Dimensions- 29x29x12 and about 45lbs each

My mechanic just quoted me $75 per tire with corporate account
Without you're looking at $100 per tire

The other 4 people who gave me advice on this thread didn't seem to think so. TireRack has them for $1400 without tax or shipping. I'm open to offers but I've been lowballed twice so far through PM. Probably because these people knew they were offering embarrassing $$.

I can tell you I just sold more expensive ($400 more on tire rack) Pirelli p zero (bigger off an X5m) with similar mileage for $1100 shipped.

I usually don't give pricing advice unless the OP asks for it. I recently sold brand new Dunlop 20" staggered take-offs (cost $1600 at tire rack before shipping/tax, etc.), for $800 local pick up. Unfortunately, new take-offs in 20" staggered sizes seem to have sweet spot of around $800-$900, regardless of brand. You may get more if you're willing to wait, but if you're looking for a quick sale, that's where I'd price it.

It's not about offering embarrassing $$, it's about negotiating a deal. We'd all love to see the negotiations play out on the posts, but some people choose to handle it discreetly. Nothing wrong with that. Besides, they're take- offs. Can't exactly compare them to new off the shelf tires, even if they've only been minimally used.

Well I am open to realistic offers, but I was offered $600.. because the guy saw another poster selling the same tires (w/ 7k miles) for $500..in my mind that's a low-ball offer, but who knows. I appreciate all feedback you all have given me. Shipping these things estimated at 90-110$ a tire, which is quite high..

Run Flat?

Sorry if I missed it in the post but are they run flats? I did not see it specified except for in the Tire Rack quote.

Thank you

Hi yes, I believe OEM are run-flats, but if I'm incorrect I'm sure someone will step in. They replaced them with all-reason run-flats.

If they are the original tires, they are run flats.

Hi rocket,

Located in the Richmond area. Shoot me a PM if you want to talk logistics.

Thank you.

All,

For some reason I do not receive notifications when this gets new posts, so I've been trying to check it when I remember.
