Also, for everyone wondering, there will be no custom LED door sills, unfortunately - it was one of the biggest headaches I had to deal with, and I'll leave it at that. If BMW ever releases something better down the road officially for the F15 like they have for the F20 and F30, I'll gladly buy it. The biggest thing I realized from this whole process is that custom work of this level is not easy. It takes time, effort, patience, and the ability to keep moving forward despite hiccups. I'm very thankful for the means to mod my car and for having a friend that was able to make it happen.

I just want to come over and glide my fingers across her body. That sounded very creepy, but I really do. Many people will want to do that, she looks very clean (from the outside only so far LOL, I think my circuit breakers tripped when I saw the pliers on your leather seats) and those wheels complete the whole setup.
Can't wait to see the final product, and I envy your patience!

On pickup day (Wednesday afternoon), the car was not ready and there were far too many imperfections that I saw that needed to be fixed. So, I'm back to being patient and will have to wait it out and see. Once the job is perfectly completed, I will post the new photos in a new thread with something close to "Satin Chrome" in the thread title. Nonetheless, thanks for checking in .

Progress, but in terms of completion date, no good news yet. I'm just remaining patient until I see perfection, nothing less.

@Opasha Do you know any way to remove the roof rails? I've been looking for days. My X5's coming in tomorrow and I'm planning on painting my roof and rails in Jet black or shadow line trim match it all.

That's correct. It's even a mystery to me now, lol. My car is currently a prisoner to perfection at the moment. I won't accept anything less. Friendship can be a double-edged sword sometimes when it comes to business. I don't yell/get angry at my friends, so the only thing I can do is remain positive and offer productive advice/help if something goes wrong.

It only cost me $200 to have the shadowline trim wrapped with 3M Gloss black and it matches the existing gloss black trim perfectly. I took it to my dealer after and they swore it was shadowline trim from the manufacturer. No risk, especially based upon the cost. I cannot imagine that the roof rails would cost much more.
