Anyone done this? Opinions? Seems to make it much easier to do maintenance with it being under the hood. Thx.

Assume we are talking about the Diesel option with water separator? I was strongly considering it, especially how plug-n-play the kit was. Not to mention I really appreciate the TuneMyEuro guys.

The show-stoppers for me were:

• What to do with OE in-line filter (dual filters or delete)
• 40K miles Service Intervals
• Initial investment cost $200
• OE in-line filter delete kit - $50
• Replacement filters - $30

It's great idea, easy to install and I'm sure the fuel pump will love you, but to me the ROI was not worth it. You can increase the service intervals of the standard filter to every 15K miles across 80K miles, spend $20-$30 for OE filter, and still come out ahead.

Example:
Kit with 1 Filter change @ 80K = $280 ($200 + $50 + $30)
5.3 Filters @ 80K = $159 (80k/15k = 5.3 * $30)
