help - Key fob control unit location?

Weird one so any help appreciated

Think I may have a bad connection on a block - X5 M50d when the passenger door slams or closes it comes up that the key is missing and I loose apple car play connection to the car. It comes back if I knock the car off and never happens on drivers door …

Any idea guys?

Thanks

See A203 in the illustration:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
  • Remove right-hand shoulder panel

  • Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
  • Release screw (2).
  • Remove the receiver (3)
Installation note:
Position the receiver (3) so that the positioning pin on the rear side engages in the matching bore hole.
