yeah they want to see the connections to the BDC as well as inside the control module for the remote start. My understanding is there are dip switches in there.

If they have you change the wiring or dip switches, kindly note which you had to change and post here so that when I get this for mine it doesn't annoyingly turn the car off upon opening the door.

Will be nice when they made a kit with a long range remote.

I had a Chrysler Pacifica rental car that I could start from the 15th floor of a hotel while the car was on the opposite side of the building. The range was phenomenal.

my F15 isn't horrible. It def doesn't have the range of others I've seen, but using the chin method has enough for anything I need. If I had to guess I'd say 50yrds is doable if there isn't much in the way, maybe a little more.

The F30 is not great. Pretty much need clear line of sight and no more than 25yrds.

My E90 was straight garbage. Damn near had to be standing next to it.

Remote start

I have it on my X5 F15, it works fine, but after i got Webasto heater installed, i dont ever use remote start anymore
