Outside cameras issue

I searched and searched for the thread about the outside cameras not working when cold and could not find the threads. Any help?

Thanks

How cold are we talking? I've not heard of any issues with cold temperatures affecting the camera. Obviously if dirt or ice etc are blocking the camera you won't see anything, but I've never gotten any sort of error message.

I had the message on my instrument panel. After I cleaned the ice/dirt from lense message was gone, it happened on a cold day.

Maybe this is the thread, indirectly refers to snow/ice.

I just remember seeing couple threads here about the cameras being sensitive to cold and not working. BMW replaced some sensors and that fixed the problems. Cant find those threads now.
