Sport Plus mode coding

Hey guys,

I didn't get the M package so I am missing the Sport Plus mode. Is this something that can be unlocked with coding?

Thanks!

Yes. It can be coded. Look in the coding thread. Opasha figured it out.

Opasha tried this on my X5 but we missed a few steps. Eventually it was worked out which is shown in the post I have given you.

What does Sport + give you except take some of the traction off?

It gives you launch control and the ability to use one button (putting the car into sport +) to use launch control instead of a few (putting car into sport, traction control...).

It should also give you the 0.2 second reduction in shift time that SAT gives but I have not heard of anyone measuring this to confirm. I have it coded and have not noticed a difference in shifting. On the other hand, MPPK, definitely gives a difference.
