New X5 Ordered!

hi there x5 fans- M3 guy here, ordered this car for my mom..Am i missing anything important?

X5 4.8
Luxury package
napa interior package- mocha
Drivers assist plus with side view
Mineral White

would have liked to go M sport but for the extra 3500 bucks i didn't really think it was worth it, plus i kind of like the look of the non M sport...

does the M Sport have a better exhaust sound?

Lucky mom!

I'm awaiting my X5 50i. I went for the M sport, but don't think the exhaust sound is different. My 550ix is M sport too and it doesn't sound any different than a non-M sport.

Congrats. The exhaust should sound the same.

my dad basically gave me the decision to make... X5 5.0, non M sport, or 3.5, M Sport.

I'd add M Sport and Lighting Package as a bare minimum...

Not going M sport is a decision you will regret.

Garage List
2015 Porsche Macan ...  [0.00]
2017 BMW i3  [0.00]
2020 BMW  [0.00]
Would definitely add the lighting package so she has the auto dimming and better lights and the executive package. I have both and enjoy them..
Love my 50i.

+1 on ///M Sport. Single best decision I made in the build was upgrading.

Whats funny is that the one thing I cant get over on the non-msports is the steering wheel. I think everything else I could live with, but that damn non-msport steering wheel feels and looks out of place to me. I think exterior styling wise, its fine.

Just upgrading the steering wheel is pretty easy though. If that's all you want, it's not worth getting the whole M Sport. Just buy it afterwards.

Its pretty damn expensive doing the steering wheel by itself. It doesn't make sense at that point.

Expensive, but not as much as entire Sport package. Not as cost prohibitive like upgrading to idrive5 for those with idrive4.
