Are there any specs for the "new" v8 listed anywhere?

edit: I found this link - looks like no increase in max HP nor Torque, but max torque starts at 1800 rpm vs. about 2000. That should help somewhat with a more powerful feeling...

just because an item is popular doesn't mean i have to purchase it. i would rather own a 10 year old car than an EV at this point.

i find myself more interested in older vehicles these days... more and more tech is being placed into the vehicle and i find it far more distracting than not having it which is rather odd because it was designed with the idea of additional safety.

Don't want to sound like a hippy, but I really like the development of EV at this stage.

I would love a full EV vehicle in 5 to 10 years time, with a 5-10 min quick charge time at home, and at stops.

These type of vehicles are for people who are only interested in moving from point A to point B... We are "drivers"

+1.

All the tech and safety goodies in the X5 are nice; surround view, backup camera, ACC, emergency stop, blind spot warning, etc. But there are times when I don't want any of that and hop into the 11-year old family minivan where everything is more analog and simple. Slow acceleration and plenty of body roll, but it's a fun and simple car
