Negative Camber from factory?
Hello guys,
I recently upgraded from 19 inch to 20 inch wheels. Everything looks good except that I noticed something a little off ( to me) I never noticed the car was running a negative camber with 19 inches but now I see it. It’s not noticeable for most people but as you all know we look for the fine details. So my question is: F15 runs a negative camber from factory or something is off with my car that needs to be checked? On the highway the car drives in a straight line with no vibration... Your input is greatly appreciated... |

My '16 X5 F15 30d w/ black 491 rims has a rear wheels negative camber... viewing from rear the wheels appear to be this way... "/ \" ...if this is what U mean w/ negative camber.

Thank you guys for the responses.
I guess I have a more specific question now.... Are the camber specifications different based on wheel size? The reason i'm asking again is because i recently upgraded to 20" and I didn't notice the negative camber on the 19". I understand the total wheel and tire circumference would still be the same, but tire width has changed.... |

no wheel size specific alignment specs. its probably just ur eye playing tricks on u. the bigger wheel has a bigger face thus the camber is more pronounced.
