Diesel oil change price in Canada

I've never had a diesel vehicle before. It's time for my first oil change on my CPO with 94000kms. Called the dealer for a price. $329.99CND for an oil change??? Why so expensive? Do they use angel tears instead of oil? I've called all my local Bmw dealers and that's the going rate.

Not much choice to have the dealer do it cause I don't got the time but damn that seems like a lot. Plus where I live the sales taxes brings the grand total up to $381.

BMW tax

is it just oil/filter or maybe there's some adblue or something else included?

Do you have to change it at dealer? Why not change elsewhere and keep the receipt (plus you can buy a proper oil instead of relying on what crap dealer may put in - meaning they don't always put proper oil)

Ok bud , go to dealership and get oilfilter , 32CAD . Oil 0W-30 , 5 litres for 48$ plus another 1litre for 11$ .

Go to any oilshop and ask them to change oil ~ 20$ . That's it . I did it with all my bmw's .

I do my oil change myself for that exact reason. No point in paying a dealership $200/hour labour rate to change oil
