X5 F15 RW Carbon Side Skirts

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere on the site, I could not find it. So I grabbed a pair of these to make my 2014 X5 50i M Sport look a little lower (on Eibach's now and cannot afford to drop her any further as I'm in New England). My body shop did the M performance front lip and rear diffuser. He's also done several projects in the past for me with both after market and oem parts. He's telling me that these are really low quality, that he is afraid they are going to break, and that they are not mounting properly. That I'll need to take the rockers off for a proper long term solution. Not sure if anyone has any feedback on these or tips for installation?

I know that Alan L. has these installed which is really what pushed me over the edge to purchase. Thanks in advance!

*part is on the RW Carbon website, I cannot post the URL*

No issues with mine after having them for close to a year. I just drilled 5-6 screws per side and added 3M VHB tape as an extra precaution. Its not OEM quality but its not bad and won't affect anything.

Thanks Alan, I stopped by the shop and the concerns he had weren't that serious. Hopefully have them mounted up by the weekend!

Thanks for sharing. Was considering RW Carbon rear diffuser and front lip.
Let me know if any issues. Can't afford them to be too low as I am in a snow belt area.
