Guys,
Anyone who has 3rd row seats knows if with 3rd row we lose the 40/60 tilt?
Our 2014 rear seats folded all the way down and we could make a larger trunk space... I wasn't able to fold the rears seats that had 3rd row.
Can anyone verify this please?

3rd row option here and I've got the 40/20/40 OR 60/40 split to fold down.

Not sure how you could mess it up...pull handle, tilt seat forward, remove headrest, lay seat down. Voila.

Remove it? Same as the others. But it doesnt need to be removed in order to flip the seats down. The left and right ones do since they contact the back of the front seats (at least for me they do).

A little late to the game and a slight variation, but does anyone know if the rear comfort seats can be retrofitted after the fact? I've got a '14 X5 with the mocha nappa pkg and would love the extra room the rear comfort seats could provide in the back for my dogs...

Comfort rear seats in X5M?

Now that this thread has be resurrected, I too have a question. Nowhere could I find that the X5M has these seats either as standard equipment or as an option. I can't find any information on this for the X5M at all. I know this is not the X5M forum but thought someone here might know.

I have this option on my '16 50i and love them.

Considering this as well. Anyone tried it or have insight if it works? Curious what the cost would be? I’m thinking of having 3 kids back there and the slight increase in width would make it easier for 3 car seats across.

Ivr heard its very hard to do since it would require a track be installed so they can slide FWD and back which doesn't exist. Not sure if bolt holes exist if you don't have this feature assuming the tracks aren't welded in place and imagine carpet would have to be cut etc.
