Remember that all of these systems increase the risk of engine damage and component failure. Especially stacking.
Well I couldn't wait and I decided to do a few log runs with my jb4.. so these are the results for whom ever wants to know:

Stock : average of 8-9.5 psi (JB4 off and logging on) man the car felt like a cement truck
Jb4 Map 1 : average of 11.5 to 13.8 max psi
Jb4 Map2 : average of 13.8 to 15.8 psi
Jb4 Map 6 : average of 14.8 to 17.5 psi

I will try map6 for a few days and see...the turbo lg still there but now it pulls like a wild horse...

so based on the analysis, the mppk will really benefit from extra boost

Exactly. Increased manifold pressure and running rich (note your AFR at 13.8:1, which is richer than the stoichiometric ratio of 14.7:1). There's some serious risk inherent in pushing 80% more boost through your engine. To each his own.

I agree in your last statement. I'm capping at 17psi since i tested higher and the car did not liket it. Actually with higher boosts I need to run richer and not Lead to avoid Knocking. BTW, the stock engine AFR went from 13.2 to 14.8)
Still lots to play and find the sweet spot on this car, it will require time and lots of analysis...maybe be going back to Map2 i guess ..will try these few days in map6 and see how i like it..

I'm not an expert in this areaq so I will send my logs to burger tunning and see ...here is a link that explains more of the rich vs lean http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...g_rich_vs_lean

or this http://www.afrplus.com/AFRplus-unit-functionality.asp

Thanks will update the post if I get new direction from burger tunning

I bought mine from a bmw dealer in Southern California for $899. They even installed the software for me for $155. Gave me a loaner to drive around while on my family and I were on vacation.

For those of you on the fence about the MPE and MPPK, I think it's definitely worth it. I have been in a 35i luxury line to a fully loaded 35i m-sport line with M-Performance accessories, MPE, and MPPK. Coming from a 50i owner, I can tell you the difference is quite huge between the two 35i X5s. If I wasn't lucky enough to be in my 50i, I'd gladly get the MPE (love the sound) and MPPK plus RC.

Thanks, brother. I have a newfound appreciation for your color. It's so beautiful in person when done right. Your M-sport looks great btw 👌😊. I really like the M Dynamic suspension over my stock suspension. It's definitely a great compromise that's worth it if DHP is too much for people.

Can somebody comment on how MPPK feels like compared to Sport mode?
If I install MPPK and drive in Comfort, will the car feel like in Sport w/o MPPK, or even faster?

I don't think MPPK in comfort is quite like a non MPPK car in Sport. The transmission shift points are still different and the MPPK alone can't make up for that. Power increase is there regardless of mode. Think if MPPK like Sport++ mode. Thats the best way to describe it.

I think with MPPK, acceleration and throttle response is very crisp responsive versus non MPPK tuned 35i. Throttle blips around 2K-3K depending on how much you stomp on the gas pedal.

I've done my own little review on MPPK on this thread and hope it helps.

Thanks to this thread I got the MPPK a couple of months ago. Well worth the $1000, just makes the N55 so much more fun. Its strange BMW doesn't really market this at all, as I only found about it thanks to these boards. The dealership I bought from I dont think has ever sold it which was strange. Seems like fuel economy also improved, but maybe that was because the car was brand new before and now has 8K+ miles on it. BMW in Tenefly gave me a good price on it in case you are in NJ area.

Also just ordered the dinatronics sport tune for $299, will post a review after I get it. Was just about to order the Racechip ultimate based on this forum and the F30 forums, but for less then half the price I figured it would do 90% of what RCU does. It sounds like they all do the same thing by playing with the boost, and its sounds like it stacks with the MPPK. Also figured with Dinan, even with no warranty, they must have done some basic testing on the unit with this exact engine.

Yeah it's called a X5M Seriously though, I think if MPPK was available for 50i then it may hurt some sales on the X5M so it would be wise for BMW not too.

there is no tune needed for 5.0i. X5M.....It's nice to have the extra power but what's it for? Race track? Drag race? 5.0i will be more than enough.
