Anyone run a 275-40-20 winter setup on the stock 469M?

Waiting for my X5 to arrive and I have a set of 1 year old Continental winter tires (275-40-20) from my 2013 Range Rover Sport. I know I could go buy a set of 20" square wheels but I plan to put 22" summer wheels/tires on the car next year so I don't want to have 3 set of wheels/tires. I prefer to just use the 469M as my winter setup.

I know the front is perfect size, but I am worried if the rear will be too stretched? Has anyone done or seen pics of it done on an X5?

I hate the stretched look, so if its too stretched. I wont do it.

TIA

I'm debating the SAME thing right now. Pros for keeping it 275 all around is that tires are much cheaper because you have a much wider selection. Its also better for traction.

Cons is that 275 on the back wheel will look stretched. I found a pic online once of a E70 with this tire size on the back 20" wheel but can't seem to find it again. It didn't look horrible but it didn't look good either.

Exactly, but in my case I actually have basically brand new Conti winters ready to go. I just read another thread where someone said they are running 4 front wheels and therefore it looks proper.

Good luck finding 2 front 469M though...haha

Taran ran/just sold his VMR square setup with 275s. Check his build thread for pics. Didn't look overly stretched IIRC.

Sorry, thought you were just looking for better pics of a square 275 setup, not 469Ms specifically. IMO, it'll look fine!

He didn't have staggered wheels though. They were 20" x 10" on all 4s.

I agree

My original plan was to buy 2 rear tires and keep my 2 fronts but unfortunately, conti doesn't make a 315 or even 305 or 295 rear tire.
