Changing Navi Maps, need advice

I'm shipping my X5 back to the US soon and would like to change my navi maps to US current maps. I've received quotes from dealers ranging from $400 - $600 and that seems ridiculous. What's the best, most affordable method for someone that doesn't have the coding capabilities (computer, cable, skills etc.)?

Tough to do without computer and ENET. You need new map FSC code.

Thanks to all the PMs and assistance in getting my Navi maps changed. ************** made the daunting task of changing maps on my own to and easy step by step process and he walked me through it each way until it was successfully updated. If you’re in the market for a map update or change, hit him up. Oh, and I didn’t need to use a Enet cable either, I was able to do it with an antiquated laptop that’s running Windows Vista and a 64GB USB.

Wow...I did not know anyone who voluntarily used vista or windows 8. Glad you are all updated.

I wouldn’t say voluntarily, I found my old lap top buried in the attic while packing to move. I forgot I had it, plugged it in and it booted up. So I tried it and it worked, not great, but it got the job done.

I also have a X5 xDrive 40e which was shipped from the UK to Sri Lanka.
What options are available for me to update the navigation with a Sri Lankan (South Asia) map?

I got access to ConnectedDrive, but it only lets me download the Europe map. Appreciate any help
