Also i am still working on getting use to the turbo lag when accelerating from a stop, the throttle is SO sensitive and before you know it BAM my head is being whipped back lol.
is there a way to reset the driving patterns of the previous owner? Thanks. ( I've heard of disconnecting the battery but am hesitant in doing so worrying about all the saved settings etc)

Just got this Key case from amazon I have to admit it’s pretty sturdy and solid, love the extra weight. The color is very vibrant as well. Pricey tho

Lol idc what time you have. 80 miles is not gonna put you though 40% if your tank unless you're driving like a mad man. Something is up with your car. Maybe a leak. I have a tune with a high setting and drive in nothing but sport mode and I still get 300-320 a tank with mostly hwy miles and cursing at 70-80.
Ps whoever said they cruise at 55-65 why do you own a 50i if you drive in "granny mode" all the time.

Below was from my recent fill up. On a 35i, I usually average 250-270 miles before the warning light appears and fill up around 19 gallons. I get these mpg numbers consistently as well even on my old 3.0T S4. NYC in general just kills your mpg, maybe the EPA should introduce a new rating for super heavy urban areas where you stop at nearly every block and go around in circles for 20 mins trying to find a parking spot lol

I know, I know. It is a new vehicle to me and I like to explore the limits of any new vehicle I own. The tank range on a similar V8 e92 M3 was pathetic,to the point of being annoying. I had to fill up every 240 miles or so, under moderate driving conditions. I commute a lot so filling up every 240 miles was a pain.
In this case, the X5 has proven to be very predictable. A 22-gallon tank yields 440miles and around 20 mpg when driven conservatively. BTW, this is easily a 500-mile range highway missle. Can't wait to take it on a long trip! |
