Burger Tuning or RaceChip?

Hi all,

Any1 with experience with burger tuning or racechip?
Just picked up 2017 X5 35i... looking to add some power to it.
What do you think? If there is anything better that you might recommend, please let me know.

Thanks,

Alik

Might want to post on the X5 forum but as far as I know Jb4 seems to be the preferred tuning platform.

I have a Stage 1 Tuner from Burgertuning. Transferred it from my 2014 528i to my X5 35i. As expected, the extra power comes on in a rush and really wakes up the vehicle. Also gotta love the more aggressive sounding exhaust note...certainly a pleasant and unexpected surprise.

Thank you for the input.
Yeah... the exhaust definitely can use a more meaner sound

The stock exhaust sounds better? I’ve been considering the MPE, but after driving a 35i with the MPE at the dealership, I didn’t notice a huge difference.

Also, is the BMS tune just plug and play? No tuning on laptops or any of that? I have the BMS intake so I think this would pair nicely.

Perhaps the MPE equipped X5 at the dealer was not really equipped with the MPE.. because the sound is very noticeable.

Well, the service manager who I know pretty well was like come check this out. So he started it and revved it and I drove it around and I really didn’t notice much difference. Not enough to spend $1500+ on it. I was hoping it would blow me away. Hell, even my wife said “sure, order it”...that’s how I know it isn’t loud enough 😂
