I've successfully managed to enter my VIN in BMW archive and when reviewing optional equipment there is a line that's:

S877A - Delete cross-pattern operation.

Any ideas what this is?

Got this from another forum:

"It relates to the car alarm and means that the alarm has to be deactivated the same way it was activated and can't be crossed.

example, if you lock the car with the remote, the alarm will not be deactivated and start howling when you open the car via the key in the door and vice versa.

lock with remote, open with remote.
lock with key in door, open with key in door.

Otherwise the alarm will kick off, that is the crossing disabled."

So I thought I'd be able to relax now that I can enter my VIN into bmwarchive.org and see my new car... WRONG!!
Anyone know if there is any further information to be obtained between now (production date was 24/1) and when it may (or may not) appear as a shipment via the 2wglobal website?!
From what I see on the shipping website, the car will hopefully be on the 16 Feb sailing to Southampton.

Mine was built the same day! I wonder if it was RHD week!
My dealer said they were expecting week 10 (beginning of March) which makes me think it'll be on the 11th Feb shipment.
I think it's just a case of waiting for each of the shipping days and entering your VIN. It would be useful to see planned shipments from the factory to the dock.

Lol, yes, or RHD day!
I didn't know there was an 11th shipment. Is that to Southampton?
My dealer tells me from the 3rd March so fingers crossed.
If I find out anything else I'll PM you.

Thanks. I searched on upcoming shipments from Charleston to Southampton that were due by end of Week 10 (9 March). This is what I got:
