So, for some reason I can only get the channel to show up in Bimmercode and not in Esys, I have tried searching for the exact channels in Esys but they do not pull anything up, but here is the path:

BDC_BODY->Expert Mode->3076 DG_3076
This will pull up all of the ensemble groups and layers just like the previous versions but now each layer is split into an R, G & B channel. As a reminder, only 1-9 Ensemble groups are used in the F15 and only layers 1-3 (1-door contour line, 2-armrest area, 3-footwell).

To change the color of a layer each layer you have to set the RBG color parameters in Hexadecimal, which could potentially lead to infinite color options, as you could choose any RGB combo and convert the numbers to hexadecimal.

For instance, if you wanted a Red color you would just make the R channel FE (255) and leave the other channels at 00. Here is one website where you can choose your RGB color, https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_rgb.asp then take those RGB Values to this site http://hextodecimal.com/index.php and find the corresponding Hex number and just plug that hex in for the werte value for each corresponding R G B channel in bimmercode.

Here are the Wertes for the three colors I've figured out that match the previously pre-selectable ones:

MINT (Gruen):
R: 10
G: FE
B: 32

DYNAMIC BLUE (Blau):
R: 00
G: 42
B: FE

LILAC (Flieder):
R: 78
G: 3C
B: FE

Voila! Now it's not a curse to have the updated BDC_BODY but a blessing because we are no longer limited to pre-selected colors and can create whatever color you'd want!
Thank you!!!!

If you VO and FDL code and then save a copy of your FA and you lose coding for any reason, can you just load your saved FA and do you have all of your coding back?

You would get your original factory coding, not your custom FDL coding.

No. You would have to use FAFP editor.

FA is just the information found when decoding VIN. Making FDL changes does not alter FA.

Asked this in the other thread, but I'll ask here too...

I'd like to add Sport+ added (and launch control)

Is there a way? (MY 15 s35i non-m)

I already have sport transmission coded, which works great.

Moving from F10 coding to F15. Get CAFD file not found error (when trying to read FDL data) on some modules such as KOMBI and BDC_BODY.

Renamed old PSdZData folder (did not delete) and replaced with newer version 4.16.10 (from 3.59.2).

Could the problem be I did not delete old data even though folder name is different? Or, something else to look for?

Hello, not sure if this is the correct thread to ask but,

I have a OBD2 and i am looking to reset the Brake notifications. The front brake are fine and I don't need to change them yet, however i keep on getting the 'use moderate brake force' when stopping.

If i get the full version of the vgate software will i be able to rest it?

I have coded Tire Pressure and Temperature, my screen in iDrive changed from previous and has two dashes next to each wheel for 2 numbers but doesn't show anything, what would that be?

Do you have the proper tire pressure monitor sensors installed in the wheels? I see you are also in Canada, we have a different sensor.

Like I mentioned, I'm assuming you bought your X5 in Canada, so I believe we have abs sensors that determine our tire pressure.

I think you need to buy a set of tpms and have them installed in your tires. I believe that's the only way to get active readings for each tire.
Someone with more knowledge I'm sure will be able to confirm.

Looking for the ability to enable auto-hold at engine start (so I don't have to keep pressing the button).

Searched this thread but did not find it, and for some crazy reason it doesn't happen to be in the cheat sheet.... It has to be possible...
