Y-pe or Super Sprint Exhaust F15 35i

Hello everyone.I have f15 35i M sport stage 2 with catless downpipe installed. In my exhaust I have a popcorn sound but no bass.Who knows what will be sound better? And what the difference?
Y-Pipe with mufler deleted or Super Sprint exhaust?
I want to add some bass and make exhaust louder for 20-30%

Any muffler delete with straight pipes would make it go even further from bass. The most bass for your engine that I have heard so far came from a Supersprint cat-back exhaust, but it is an expensive upgrade IMO.

Yes,Y-pipe cost of $400,Super Sprint muffler cost $1200.You think it will be much better than OEM M performance exhaust which installed from manufacture?

You can get a Y-pipe done by any decent muffler shop for much less. The aftermarket mufflers and OEM M performance will be similar in performance but different in tone. I personally don't like how the M Performance sounds.

If I were you, I would delete the OEM exhaust at the back and install Vibrant Performance 10633 Muffler (2.5" inlet/2.25" double outlets) or Vibrant Performance 10632 Muffler (3.0" inlet/2.50" double outlets) and use it with the factory tips. These mufflers cost less than $200 on Amazon and they are well-made.

Get an ultraquiet muffler for the mid section or research Helmholtz resonators. (check here: http://synapseengineering.com/synaps...3eb26nmm54fu62 or http://synapseengineering.com/suppor...ons_111513.pdf)

I'm glad I ran across this because I've got an xline with factory exhaust with some custom tips I'd like to keep while turning up the volume. So I could just replace the muffler with one of the two you suggested to achieve this. Would I also need to do the exhaust flap hack for maximum volume? I've read about it but not sure with my particular model (xline) if the flap is closed? I'll have to look up some sounds clips of this muffler. Would any additional piping be needed or is the muffler plug and play with my OEM setup?

The Vibrant mufflers are off the shelf and you need an exhaust shop to weld them in and also weld your custom tips. Not plug and play. You can find some clips online how the Vibrants sound.

I see, is the piping that exits the OEM muffler welded in? I guess what I'm asking is will the exhaust shop have to custom fab the piping that is downstream the Vibrants muffler? My custom tips screw on to the existing exhaust piping currently.

At the marked areas below, the OEM muffler needs to be cut out and then the new muffler needs to be fitted/welded on. I'd go with 3" inlet and double 2.5 " outlet one.

Great. I am using the bottle type Vibrants on my X5 and they sound good but it is a 50i not a 35i.

I see...total different animal. I think I actually ran across a post of yours. I believe you stated you paid around $370 muffler + labor.

Around that for the x-pipe, 2 mufflers, tips. Since I have no lift and welding equipment.
