Making sure BMW Remote is not connected to another phone?

This just came to mind.
If you use the BMW Remote app with your car/phone and then sell the car, and the person who buys it does not use the app, how can the new owner make sure that no one is connected to the car? That is, from the iDrive itself?

That canīt be the only option. There has to be a way to disconnect the car from all remote devices within the car. If not, this is in my opinion a drastic security and design flaw.
