Yup super excited for this. They've been behind Mercedes and Audi for awhile on this

I had every intention of trading my '17 35d for the all new 2019 G550 when it hits showrooms...but this new iDrive 7.0 is looking pretty good

I will 1000% have to test the Auto HVAC in the new G05 X5 and make sure Auto A/C works though. If it is anything even remotely like the climate control in the F15, I am in my last X5, and my 35d is my 7th X5. Besides my 2006 330i, I have never had worse A/C in my life!!!

That's a shame for you. Not a single issue with my AC!

Yeah, it is a total bummer. The heat in the diesel is instantaneous, and the heated steering wheel and seats are phenomenal. I LOVE the 35d engine and the transmission is awesome. Love the iDrive, instruments, seats are insanely comfortable and I think the F15 with my big 20" wheels and flared fenders look really hot. So...there is so much I totally love about my F15 X5. BUT, being in So.Cal we have 5-6 months of 90-100+F, and the HVAC is just pathetic in my 35d (and was maybe worse in my '17 X5 40e).

It is indeed nice. The article says it will be available on all vehicles. I wonder if that means the current F15 as well (excluding the physical cluster which is a matter of hardware, anyway).
