Yes It was a few cars behind me.


I came with a group of friends. 2014 M5 competition did 11.9 and my buddies 911 did a 10.09. Fun times. Would love to do it again with a bunch of you guys from here

Very cool! Impressive time from the 911!

Last time I was at Atco, a bunch of guys from this forum all met up there. There were three X5Ms (one was mine), all the same color combo, that were there. My best time was 11.9 @ 115 MPH.

Yes, I have Dinan Stage 1. This time slip was from November 2015.

Correct, that's exactly what I did. I used launch control on the second run, but not the first. (Actually, these were my LAST two runs that night.) Launch control seems to work better with the Dinan Stage 1 bypassed.

So whats the optimal way to get the best time. The best pass I was able to get it was in auto. I was not switching


I did use launch control, should I have not?

Launch control would provide you the best time 0 to XX!! Will be difficult to time shifts as precise as the ECU!

Launch Control. Everything Sport Plus. Trans level 3. Plus put it in manual mode. The trans will shift automatically if in manual mode and LC is engaged from a stop.

It must have been cold and/or the starting line was slick for him to have spun.

I couldn't get good times with the Dinan Stage 1 and Launch Control (too much wheel spin), so I used the Auto mode and everything in Sport Plus.

I didn't have issues with spinning, it was warm out. Next time I ll try without Launch control. Planning to go back again soon.
