OEM-like exhaust valve control on 50i?

There are aftermarket exhausts with valves with remotes etc, but has anyone added valves with something like a BMS controller?

Any chance the F15 has the same loom as the F85?

Because the muffler delete sounds like a good option, but I don't want it permanent. I'm going to cut in valves for bypass and re-integrate it at the tips. If I can get away from using a 3rd party remote and just use the BC button then that would be the go.

I bet that adding an X pipe and installing electric cutouts would give you the best of both worlds. Quiet when closed, mean when open and no drone. But, with cutouts, the exhaust will dump/exit somewhere other than the exhaust tips when they are open.

Yep, and straight dump not legal for me. Plan A (if anyone reads what I type in my own post... ) is put valves in a reverse Y piece just before the rear muffler, then add the pipe into a custom cut-in before the tips.

Do watch this before commenting to see what I mean by OEM-like integration!

No, won't be like an M car, just on/off with a can bus adaptor+ hopefully integrate with oem wiring. Long shot I know....
