BMW Coding Permanent error and CEL?
Used bimmercode app last night for the first time to make basic changes to my 15' X5 50i and after making changes, shutting off car and letting it sit overnight (no CEL), I woke up to CEL. Checked in Bimmerlink and I see many errors, 80-90 and 1 permanent.
Permanent error is under "Motorlektronik ME VD17.2 8 Zylinder N63 TU Master" as "FF1932: Unknown Error" Google search provided no help. Do I need to make a trip to the dealer? Ok to drive on? |

Take it to the dealer if you have warranty. Coding doesn't void your warranty unless you mess with the engine ECU.

Should have been a little more clear, was more asking about the permanent error and the "unknown" status.
Was able to clear the CEL with bimmerlink, vehicle is working fine. |
