Work in progress at the dealer installing. Wanted to see the car and noticed that rear brakes dont have m logo. Is that normal?

I hope they need to add stickers to them as the car is still in progress...

The rear calipers do not have any noticeable logos, decals or colorful additions.

Anyone have any pics of F85 front rotors and the MPBK rear rotors?

I agree. I have the same wheels and now suddenly they look super small with performance brakes. Already an expensive mode (brakes) and now got me thinking about 21" wheels... Still thinking about it...

In addition, I have 19" staggered winter setup which will probably look ridiculous

Cheers

If you scroll up the post, you will find one OP did the front only. He is happy with it.

This is true. However, the OP has 50i rear brakes, which are larger than the 35i rear brakes if I'm not mistaken.

Why didn't you consider AP 6 pots or Brembo 6 pots?

yea, that's what worries me! anyhow I will just install the fronts for now and go from there!

The rear I think I just need the MPBK caliper adaptor then I can install the 385 rotors! And That would be a full MPBK upgrade for half the cost.

Does anyone know if the F85 calipers would fit an F15?

Brake feel

Front and back now with F85 rotors (rear F85 install no prob at all, strongly recommend as they look waaaay better and photos dont do it justice). So all good in looks dept but as need to be careful for first 200 km no real upgraded brake feel. Still even at these speeds and slow braking dont feel much dofferent. How to check whether dealer installed SW for brakes? They also had problems with power kit install bcs needed to be on one of their newer comps (for 2017 model onwards). How to be sure? I think there would be no error msgs for brakes even if one didnt do SW upgrade. Power kit i feel the dofference definitely. Thanks

I believe they need an M5 adapter to fit the fronts. Reads fit. They're on eBay.

If it's squishy or feels bad then they probably didn't code. But you're not gonna feel a "crazy" improvement.

Where'd you pick up the calipers or did you just buy em new? I haven't been able to find a used set for a reasonable price to save my life.

I got these on ebay for $600+ shipping.

I found this after I bought mine, seems very interesting. I think the price and shipping are very reasonable, and you can make him an offer if you want!!

These aren't F85 calipers bro. These will bolt right up as they're the MPBK or Most likely from an E70. Sorry mate. F85 fronts are 6pot as in this pic. Now these are specifically for the M5 but they're essentially the same.

I know the ones I bought aren't F85 calipers. Am talking about the ones I saw after I ordered mine! Check out the ebay link I paste above man.

And I believe if you buy the F85 ones I mentioned up there, they will fit directly as they already come with the carrier for 395 mm rotors! So calipers from any F85 are actually a direct fit.

This set seems like good deal with good brake pad and floating 385 rear rotor.
